Personal Mindfulness

The Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) helps participants release old mental habits and build new ones that will help them better manage their mood. As building habits takes time, this group therapy was designed as an 8-session program where participants will be required to attend a 3-hour session once a week. At the end of the two months, most participants would have gotten the skills and the tools to manage their mood.

Silent Retreats

Mindfulness at FriendlyCare regularly offers Silent Retreats to those who have undergone MBCT to continue helping them build the mindfulness practice and allow them to connect with the community of learners and practitioners.
