Professional Development

Developing oneself to deliver mindfulness programs in FriendlyCare is not only to increasingly be a professional but to become more human. One needs to complete the 8-week Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) program and to develop a personal mindfulness practice. This process may take time and may depend on each person whether they want to pursue it as a goal or let the calling arise naturally.

We are now preparing for the next cycle of the following programs that will be given online by the Centre for Mindfulness Studies with our own facilitators assisting the doctors from CMS.

There will be 2 tracks, you could choose to be capacitated to deliver MBCT or (Mindfulness for Health and Well-being) MHW programs or both. All programs will be held online.

Pre-requisites

Before one goes through a professional development track, it is important to participate in an 8-week Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and cultivate a personal mindfulness practice.
